Shree Shree Radhagovindaji’s 85th Welcome Prayer Festival 2011

Respected Sir / Madam,

I’m pleased to inform you that with the great blessings of Shreeman Mahaprabhu, we are going to celebrate 85th Welcome Prayer Festival of the holly idol established in the temple. Along with that, with due respect to the sad demise of the third volunteer Shreel Krishna Kumar Debsharma, we are coming up with great programs as per the schedule mentioned overleaf, during Maghee Purnima (full moon during). We shall even conduct a meeting & get together among all devotees staying in temple, with the holy highness Guru’s blessing on 19th Feb 2011. 

With this happy note cordially inviting all the devotees and well-wishers of the temple to participate and glorify this great occasion. Apologies for the mistakes committed in this invitation, if there is any.

: Program Schedule :

 

The great Welcome Prayer towards the devotion of Shree Shree Radhagovindaji’s greatness will be conducted according to the holly process depicted by the great pioneer of the temple Shreel Bhuvaneshwar Thakur, as described below. 

13th Feb 2011, Sunday – Establishment of The Holy Pot (Mangal Ghat) in the sacred evening of Shukla Dashami and start up of the program. 

14th Feb 2011, Monday – Bhaima Ekadashi. Reading of Shrimadbhagavat at 5 PM. Readers – Shri Gorachand Bhattacharya. After the holy reading, at 6PM the conference on Gauriya Vaishnav, pioneered by Shreel Bhuvaneshwar Sadhu Thakur and time of great third volunteer of the temple Shreel Krishna Kumar Devbarma’s demise. Retrospective of both. See off to the Pandits at the end of the conference. 

15th Feb 2011, Tuesday – Start up of round the clock holy chanting (Ahoratro Shrinam Yagga) from Dadoshi. The participants of this holy chanting are: 

  1. Shree Shree Gour Nitai Group – Purulia
  2. Shree Radharomon Group – Navadweep
  3. Shree Bishwanath Group – Korapur
  4. Shree Krishna Group – Bardhaman
  5. Shree Shree Radhagovindajiu Group – Navadweep 

Prasad distribution to the Brahmin-Vaishnav and invited devotees in the afternoon. 

Reading of Shrimadbhagavat at evening 7PM. Reader – Shree Banomali Goswami. 

16th Feb 2011, Wednesday – Round the clock holy chant (Ahoratro Yagga) on Trayodashi. Reading of Shrimadbhagavat at evening 7PM. Reader – Shree Bhudhar Goswami. 

17th Feb 2011, Thursday - Round the clock holy chant (Ahoratro Yagga) on Chaturdashi. Reading of Shrimadbhagavat at evening 7PM. Reader – Shree Shyam Sundar Chakraborty. 

18th Feb 2011, Friday - Round the clock holy chant (Ahoratro Yagga) on Maghee Purnima (full moon of ***). Welcome ceremony of lord Shree Shree Radhagovindaji at morning 10AM. Reading of Shrimadbhagavat at evening 7PM. Reader – Shree Gorachand Bhattacharya. Aarti at evening 8PM. At the end of the Aarti, the great Raash Leela of lord Brindavan Chandra Shree Krishna. Subject to the blessing of Shree Govinda, the best performance of Manipuri Dance will be performed by Vishnupriya Kumari Gopees from Assam, by the courtesy of Shree Kartik Senasingha. 

19th Feb 2011, Saturday – Pratipad. Conference of all devotees of the temple from 3PM. The honorary chair of secretary will be glorified by the presence of Shree Shamor Mohan Saha, member of Observatory Committee, Lake Town, Kolkata.

Chief Guest – Shreemati Bijoy Lakshmi Singha, former minister of handloom, handicraft, sericulture, Tripura. The participants for the speech in the conference are:

  2. Shree Banomalee Singha – I.A.S (Tripua).
  3. Shree Radha Mohan Singha – Bhanubil, Bangladesh.

20th Feb 2011, Sunday – Dwitiya. Reading of Shrimadbhagavat at 3PM. Reader – Shree Shyam Sundar Chakraborty. At 4pm the holy walk across the Navadweep Dhaam and end of the great festival with Prasad distribution.
