Periodical festivals that shall be observed in the temple throughout the year:

 



1. In the month of Baishakh, daily “Saitali” bhog with fruits and sweets shall be offered in the after-noon

 

2. Nrisinhachadurdashi Abhishek

    4. Janmastami Festival Shodasshapachar Puja , bathing with water from 108 vessels

 

  1. Radhaastami Festival. Abhishek Bath of Radha

 

  1. Babon Dwadashi Abhishek

 

  1. Niyam Seva from Ekadasi day next following the Bijoya Dashami day to Ekadasi day of the next bright fornight (both days inclusive)

 

  1. Daily “Khechuri” Bhog during the month of Kartik

 

  1. Annakut Festival on “Pratipad” day following Kali Puja day

 

  1. Maghi Purnima Day – the day on which Sree Sree Gobinda Thakur Jew was installed for the first time – shall be observed as a special festival Bathing


the Deities with water from 108 vessels, Shodasshapachar Puja and performance of “Homa”. In this connection, on the evening of preceding Dashami, “Adhibash” for Namjajna shall be commenced and Hari Naman Namjajna shall be incessantly performed from Ekadashi to Pratipad following and it shall be concluded morning of the “Dwitiya” day and Mahanagar Sankirtan shall be observed of that day (“Dwitiya” day).

 

  

  1. Doljatra Festival on the Purnima day in Falgoon

Shodashopachar Puja and Homa. Bathing Mahaprabhu with water from 108 vessels at night Nagar Sankirtan with that Red Powder (Abir) and Coloured Water (Rang).
